When the sun only makes rare appearances, you have to take full advantage of whenever (if ever) it does. Word on the street is that the Blue Waters Cafe is the restaurant with the best view in P.E. I’ll get back to you on that one once I’ve managed to grow wings and explore the city in it’s entirety hahaha, but as of now I would have to agree.
This cool dude was singing and playing the guitar-if he becomes famous, I discovered him first!
I’d long anticipated visiting Blue Waters not only for the gorgeous view, but because of their famous Lindt Chocolate Brownie.Yes, that’s an actual thing (wipes away tear). However, to my great disappointment and dismay, the waitress told me that it wasn’t in stock that morning. Despite the initial punch-in-the-stomach feeling and distress over this revelation, it was still a lovely visit to the restaurant.
Against my better judgement, I ordered a hot chocolate, on a boiling hot day, lol. But no regrets, I mean, it came with a free Flake bar of chocolate on top (which I accidentally dropped in my drink after the photos were taken but oh well!).
Their vegetarian penne is SUCH a winner. The Zucchini, carrots, mushrooms and mixed capsicum were cooked to perfection, and together with the grated cheese and tomato stew-perfection, it was a perfect harmony of tastes. Food pictures are always a must, so my mom and sister’s food is included as well. Also, shout out to the guy shooting murderous glances our through the window from within the restaurant as we took at least a million photos (if he wanted to be in one, he could’ve just asked, hehe jk).
Sometimes you need to take out the time to just relax and enjoy some good food…and the ocean waves, and the sunshine at the same time. Life gets a little crazy, so don’t forget to take five (or 10 or 20) every now and then 🙂
