A little life update.

Hi! Hello! Greetings!

It’s been a while. I thought it would be a good idea to sit down and have a little catch-up sesh before I put up any other posts this year.

I graduated recently. “Finally” would be an understatement! More on that in a future post. I don’t want to say too much about future plans lest I jinx myself, but I’m currently doing my honours. If all goes well, I might end up doing my masters. If opportunity comes knocking and I get a job, then that’s another avenue I’d be willing to take.

Last year was an absolute whirlwind. The global pandemic felt like taking an unexpected frying pan to the back of the head. The mental health lows were extra low. I juggled working a paying job for the first time, finishing my undergrad, helping my friend out with her online magazine while being the Lifestyle & Entertainment Editor of my university student paper. It was a lot. And probably too much at once. But I’m glad that I got to have those experiences in spite of being indoors all year.

To be honest, I still feel pretty burnt-out from that time. Either because of the aforementioned activities or the fact that I’ve spent most, if not all, of my years on earth, in school.

The year is chugging along rather slowly and silently. I suspect it’s because I’m still trying to find my feet.

I look forward to writing and sharing more on here, soon!

That’s pretty much all for today my friends. Are you well? Has 2021 been kinder than the circus that was 2020? Let me know! I reckon I’ll be living vicariously through you.

Here is a small collection of photos so that this post doesn’t look too bland and bare!

Take care.

I was editor of the month of July!

One of the first graphics showing the Cappuccino the Zine team, an experience I’m so glad to have been a part of.

A snippet of the article I wrote about coffee shops…

I got to contribute two articles to the mag.

Definitely a first for me last year! I got to do a little bit of modeling for two shoots local photographer (and ex-interviewee!) Nicole Honeywill was doing for two local brands. Had so much fun on both occasions.
